The farmhouse is an eighteenth-century complex with beautiful rooms; a restaurant that uses meat from its own farms and organic products from the fields to prepare menus and breakfasts for each guest. The farm with its laboratory transforms the raw material grown in the 400 hectares of land into extraordinarily good organic food: compotes and chutneys, honeys, oil, flour and pasta, traditional cured meats and wine.

Tasting menu “Leave it to us”, 4 courses as follows: Appetizer, First, Second and Dessert accompanied by 3 wines paired from the Cellar and including cover charge, water and coffee.

Day 2

Day 2

In the early morning, we set off by our own to reach the starting point of our hike to the Acquacheta, the famous waterfall mentioned by Dante in the Divine Comedy. The waterfall can be reached with a walk of one and a half / two hours from the village of San Benedetto in Alpe. Dante’s path winds along the Acquacheta stream and leads to the waterfall, which has a drop of about 70 meters, a grandiose and unique attraction. Dante was exiled from Florence in 1302; on the road towards Ravenna, he spent the winter of 1302-1303 in the town of San Benedetto in Alpe and in the Benedictine Abbey that had stood there since the 4th century. In exile, he begins to write the Divine Comedy and, in the narration of the itinerary through Hell and Purgatory, describes the Waterfall in Canto XVI (94-105).
