The Romea Germanica Experience, in the heart of the Romagna Apennines
Castrocaro Terme – Bagno di Romagna section, marked by 5 stages in the heart of the Romagna Apennines. The Via Romea Germanica is one of the most important paths in Europe that lead to Rome. Born as the “Melior Way” to connect Germany to the Eternal City, this path retraces the pilgrimage of Abbot Albert of Stade to Rome (year 1236) meticulously transcribed in his travel diary.
